Additional adult leader needed to help with LYO on Wednesday nights and LYO events/trips. Interested adults should see Robyn as soon as possible. A male leader would be a great asset. Please see Robyn Graham or Tom Ribbeck if you are interested in assisting with LYO evening events or being a part of the Youth Ministry Team.

John 4:23-24

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit and His worshipers must worship in spirit and truth."

“Worship the Father in spirit” means that God is not a physical being limited to one place and God can be worshiped at any time and anywhere. I find that sometimes my best praying and worshiping takes place when I am alone in the car, traveling for work throughout the day. I sometimes enjoy the silence of the car ride and being alone with God during that time.

You don’t always have to be inside the walls of the church to worship and praise God. You can give honor and glory to God driving down the street. I feel that if your worship is genuine and true to self, then the location does not matter. Don’t get me wrong, worship on Sunday is a strong part of faith, but it does not have to stop after Sunday mornings. I encourage everyone to find that place to worship and praise God.

Is it in the car? Is it when you’re exercising? Is it when you’re walking in the hallways at school or work? No matter the location – God the Father is with us.

Dear Lord, I pray that everyone finds that place to worship and praise You. Amen
