As we continue through Lent there is this famous story that Jesus told about a loving father and his two sons. One son was faithful and stayed with the father, while the other son took all his inheritance – in advance – and squandered it in dissolute living. What do the three people in this parable, or story with a point, say to us? Why did Jesus tell this story to people who were coming to hear our Lord speak?

I welcome you to come and see this Sunday, to come and worship. Come and hear again of the good news that we have in Jesus. Come and bolster your faith among the cloud of witnesses that is Trinity. Come and receive God’s blessings in the Word and in Communion.
