WELCA
WELCA General meeting
to be held at 4:00 pm. Aug. 17th in the Riverside Greenhouse. This General
Mtg. is for all ladies of Trinity to gather together for fellowship.
"As a community
of women, created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ
and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm
our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action,
and promote healing and wholeness in the church, society, and the world."

As a female church member you are automatically also a member of
Women of the ELCA (WELCA). Here at Trinity we have 4 active units meeting each
month. I would encourage you to pick one that fits your schedule and interests
and join the fun. We will be highlighting the Units in the upcoming Trinity Visitors
to give you a better idea of what each unit does. You can also find out more in
the WELCA handbook, "Act boldly," located in the narthex kiosks.
"As a member of Sarah Unit, I look forward to
our meetings each month. The time spent in devotion and fellowship brings
me closer to God and also closer to some wonderful, fun-loving, positive and caring
women that I now have the privilege of calling dear friends.Activities in
the past year have included; sponsoring Ladies Night Out, painting sweatshirts
for Ericsson School, Mothers Appreciation Dinner, supplying children's worship
bags and other tasks within the Church. If any of these sound appealing, we
hope you will join us!" Jan Peterson
